Public garage Obilićev venac is an existing structure that needed reconstruction, revitalization and facade change. It is situated in the central part of the historical core of Belgrade. The location is urban, attractive, accessible and highly vibrant. It is a 24 hour city spot with distinguish spirit but unfortunately with no urban or architectural identity.

Concept keeps basic volumetric, a little bit (4m) expanded on all sides, of existing structure adding a new structure on the top of the building, thus creating new contents and identity.

Reconstruction includes:

. 4m expanded area around the existing volume, with commercial and business purpose

. additional roof structure, with cultural purposes, namely gallery with cafe or similar contents.

. roof terrace arrangement, partially as an open green area

. urban surrounding arrangement, partially created as a meeting place.

Bar code is a concept used for wrapping the existing structure, as well as for paving the surrounding area and a flat roof surface.

While the facade is an expression of vibrant surrounding area, the paving has a role in accentuation of the specific place.
