concept "ionic column"
Urban elements for the Archaeological park Mediana has a purpose to fence the area, visually mark and create a recognizable entrance plateau, and enable its easy and comfortable use.
Concept
Urban elements are shaped to symbolically present the idea that lies behind the park presentation concept and to introduce visitors with its identity.
The ionic column abstracted in the form of sign is used as this is the only column capital that has been found on the site of Mediana.
Consequently, in contemporary interpretation of ionic column the lighting column, fence gate, portal gate, bicycle stand, bench and trash can are created.

Elements are arranged all over the park marking particular areas and spaces, and being organized as to provide comfortable use of the park.

Elements are made of robust metal prefabricated square-based beams and metal strips in polished anthracite-black color.
